Myanmar Consumers Union Members Reunion and E-Commerce Discussion was held on May 25th, 2019 at Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) Yangon. President of Myanmar Consumers Union, Prof. Dr. Mar Mar Kyi gave welcome remark. U Maung Maung, Secretary of MCU, explained about the current situation and activities of MCU. After photo session, joint-secretary-3, U Win Min, joint-secretary-4 Naw Ta Hey Nyaw and one of Executive Members of MCU, Daw Thin Nwe Soe presented about the upcoming activities which need to be performed together.
In the afternoon, U Maung Maung introduced about MCU to the members and new orients. Joint-secretary-4 of MCU, Naw Ta Hey Nyaw presented about the member registration and fund raising. Then panel discussion on “E-Commerce” was moderated by U Win Min, joint-secretary-3 of MCU. Panelists are: U Min Thein, Deputy Director of DOCA, U Aye Chan, President of Ecommerce Association of Myanmar, and Dr. Mo Mo Tin, joint secretary-1 and Project Manager of Myanmar Consumers Union (MCU).
